Braised Tofu

Braised Tofu is a classic Korean side dish of pan-fried tofu simmered in soy sauce. The savory and slightly salty flavor pairs perfectly with rice.

Flavor Secret

Removing moisture with salt and frying until golden helps sauce absorb and prevents crumbling. Braise uncovered to avoid burning.

Cooking Tips

Cut tofu with straight knife motions for clean surfaces. Simmer until liquid reduces by half.

Plating

Place tofu slightly upright, drizzle with remaining sauce, and garnish with red pepper threads and green onion.
